Longtime collaborators Concepts and Vans have a new collection dropping this week.
Much like their previous projects, the Boston-based retailer and the footwear brand have taken inspiration from music. This time they’re referencing the Mighty Mighty Bosstones’ Question the Answers album that released in 1994. The capsule includes two iterations of the Sk8-Hi, an Old Skool, and an Authentic, with each pair donning a fuzzy checkerboard pattern seen in ‘70s and ‘80s fashion in London.
“Working with Vans has given us space to experiment with the rich history of punk fashion. This latest collection, which includes our most progressive in-house clothing assortment, allows us to honor local music history and relay our deep knowledge of luxury design details,” Deon Point, Concepts’ creative director, said about the project.
The Concepts x Vans “Question the Answers” collection will be released this Friday, Oct. 7 exclusively at Cncpts.com and at Concepts doors.
