With folks gearing up for spooky season by sprucing up their abodes with Halloween decor and the gloomier weather starting to show face more consistently, it's really starting to feel like fall. And to spice up the seasonal change, footwear brands like Nike, ASICS, adidas and more are blessing the sneaker community with a new batch of launches. Before we get to those though, let's do a recap of all of the bigger sneaker news pieces that sprung up last week.
Our Sole Mates series was on its regular scheduled programming and broadened with a new feature with Wish Atlanta and Antidote's founder Lauren Amos. She caught up with HYPEBEAST to discuss her appreciation for the COMME des GARÇONS x Nike Cortez Platform. In terms of news, Nike had plenty of products to uncover such as more AMBUSH® x Nike Air Force 1 colorways, a Nike Dunk Low “Industrial Blue” colorway, an SB Dunk Low with black uppers and gum bottoms as well as an Air Max Penny 1 "Faded Spruce" makeup. Additionally, Tom Sachs stirred up some excitement because he executed a surprise drop of his Nike GPS "Archive" at Kohl's. On the Jordan Brand side, we caught a further look at Zion Willamson's Air Jordan 1 Low OG "Voodoo," caught word of a pair of Ye's Jordan 6 “Donda West” being auctioned off and witnessed the Air Jordan 1 Low Elevate gets hit with a "Lucky Green" arrangement.
Major items from the adidas camp were so revealed. The German juggernaut previewed a duel-ready collection with Yu-Gi-Oh!, teased the adidas YEEZY 450 "Stone Teal" colorway, unveiled more adidas adiFOM Q installments and honored the Lakers and Bucks with two Forum '84 High renditions.
Moreover, Cecilie Bahnsen unveiled a floral-covered ASICS collaboration, INVINCIBLE, N.HOOLYWOOD and New Balance came together for a M1906RNI “Grey Swan” partnership and a One Piece x Vans Authentic collaboration emerged.
Now that you're all updated with the latest in sneakers, let's get into the best releases of the week here below. Once you're all done peeping those, head over to HBX to shop for more footwear styles.
