Nike's "Planet of Hoops" pack has mainly been a Nike Basketball effort thus far with silhouettes like an eerie Kyrie 6 and a colorful KD 13, but now Nike Sportswear is getting in on the interplanetary fun with new takes on the Air Flight '89 and Benassi. Using bold and bright pops of color plus collection-specific hits, each provides a substantial off-court option to match the all-galaxy performance provided by the aforementioned signature models.

A onetime performance silhouette that was sported on-court by NBA legend Scottie Pippen, the Air Flight '89 is presented in classic white leather. This standard base is quickly equipped with a plethora of accents, ranging from speckled midsoles that glow in the dark to reflective quarter overlays and Swooshes. Red and purple trim race around the collar, encircling the signature detail: a printed hit on the tongue that reads "The Court Planet Of Hoops." Unique insoles and a visible green Air Max unit complete the look.

Meanwhile, the Benassi is constructed from black EVA foam, with a textured footbed and a padded strap over the forefoot. The footbed offers white speckles, while the strap is awash in dripping text hits that surround its white Swoosh. These are colored in purple, green and red and state everything from "There is No Coming Back" to "Just Do It."

The Nike Air Flight '89 and Benassi "Planet of Hoops" are both available now on Nike CN. The Flight '89 is priced at ¥849 CNY (approximately $120 USD), while the Benassi arrives at ¥299 CNY (approximately $42 USD).

Elsewhere in the world of the Swoosh, a new Kobe Bryant shoe was quietly debuted.
