Yohji Yamamoto has become the fourth designer to take part in Dr. Martens' 1460 Remastered series, putting his own twist on the classic silhouette as it celebrates its 60th anniversary. This collaboration is especially important to the footwear brand, with April marking the month of the anniversary and Yamamoto being the brand's first-ever collaborative partner.

The latest collaboration sees Yamamoto craft the boot from Smooth Splice leather, which is then altered with a lazered spider web print running across the upper. The spider theme continues throughout, with the laces wound into a decorative antique spider designed exclusively for the boot. Other features include Yamamoto's signature embossed into the leather tongue, as well as yellow stitch detailing and a gold top eyelet.

Take a look at the 1460 YY Web boot in the gallery above. The 1460 Remastered collaboration from Yohji Yamamoto and Dr. Martens will hit the brand's web store on April 25.

In other footwear news, Sex Pistols also recently worked with Dr. Martens.
