Nike Skateboarding will be releasing a special edition Nike SB Dunk Low that pays homage to the Grateful Dead Bears, which was a series of stylized dancing bears drawn by Bob Thomas as part of the back cover for the album History of the Grateful Dead, Volume One (Bear’s Choice) in 1973.
This pair is one of three “Grateful Dead Bears” colorways that will be releasing as part of a pack similar to the “Three Bears” pack from 2006. It features a fuzzy, faux fur upper with suede overlays and a jagged Swoosh as a nod to the bear’s jester collars. Finishing details includes a stash packet behind the tongue to store your special belongings.
