As fall begins, adidas is expanding its restock efforts beyond just the adidas YEEZY line as it brings back its original South Park collaboration. The two came together on the Campus 80 in 2021 with a "Towelie" colorway that referenced the month's popular cannabis holiday of 4/20. Met with great demand, the sneaker flew off shelves and is being reissued just over a year later. Since then, the duo launched a full collection of footwear and apparel that included silhouettes such as the Stan Smith, Superstar and NMD_R1.
Looking closer at this reissue of the Campus 80, it stays true to its original form with a towel-esque terry loop textile upper, hidden stash pockets and Towelie eyes that react to UV light by turning red. Arriving in the character's signature soft blue, the upper also carries the silhouette's classic Three Stripes and heel branding in a white leather. A white stitched midsole rests above a white rubber outsole while various thematic details such as a Towelie keychain, collaborative box and iconic Towelie phrases inside the tongue complete the look.
For those who missed out the first time or need a fresh pair, the South Park x adidas Campus 80 "Towelie" is set to restock October 6 at 10am EDT via adidas at a price of $100 USD.
