Virgil Abloh is set to release not one, but two Off-White x Air Jordan 5 colorways for the models 30th Anniversary in 2020.
One pair is inspired by the OG “Metallic” Air Jordan 5, and the other, shown here, nods to the original “Fire Red” release. This Air Jordan 5 features a Sail upper, 3M reflective tongues, Black midsole with Fire Red overlays atop an aged translucent outsole.

Look for the Off-White x Air Jordan 5 “Sail” to release this holiday season in family sizing at select retailers and Nike.com. The retail price tag is set at $225 USD.

UPDATE 7/17: Originally thought to be the sample pair that Virgil previewed back in February, the retail release of the Off-White x Air Jordan 5 “Sail” will include entirely different sole that nods to the original “Fire Red” release. A release date is scheduled for sometime during the holiday season.

UPDATE 2/15: Back in January news reported that another Off-White x Air Jordan 5 will be releasing later this year. Following the debut of the first launch, Virgil has just confirmed that those rumors are in fact true. While details weren’t provided, you can get a preview look in this video below via Ibn Jasper. The previous reports stated that the shoe will come dressed in a Sail-like colorway. Stay tuned for more info to come.
