A Closer Look at Casablanca’s Color-Blocked New Balance 327 Collaboration

Casablanca's highly-anticipated collaboration with New Balance on its 327 silhouette is dropping soon, and HYPEBEAST has the closer look ahead of its imminent release.

The Casablanca x New Balance 327 comes in two colorways, "Green/Orange" inspired by Moroccan sweet oranges, and "Green," which is inspired by tennis uniforms. Both reference Casablanca founder Charaf Tajer’s dual French-Moroccan heritage, while the use of supple white leather taps the sophistication of Italian sportscars.

New Balance's 327 takes inspiration from the imprint's archival running shoes of the 1970s, highlighting a mixture of sleek lines alongside chunky components, such as the extended rear heel. The pairs feature an oversized "N" emblem on the mid-panel, and cover the white leather base in premium suede.

Elsewhere on the sneakers, you'll find a dual-branded tongue tag that notes the duo's collaborative "Tennis Club" initiative, while New Balance branding has been debossed into the suede rear-quarter. There is also branding embroidered into the heel, sitting above the extended noduled sole unit that curves up the back of the shoe.

Take a closer look at the Casablanca x New Balance 327 in both colorways in the exclusive imagery above. Both pairs will release on April 18 for $150 apiece on Casablanca's website, as well as at select retailers such as KITH, SSENSE and Concepts.
