adidas has signed on rider Mike Arnold for a sleek take on the Copa Nationale. First unveiled in blue two months ago, the silhouette is a slimmed-down skate shoe originally inspired by indoor soccer shoes. This time around, however, Mike Arnold and adidas have opted for a hiking-inspired design, offering a distinctively technical twist to the skate shoe.

The silhouette boasts a semi boxy fit that tapers down towards the forefoot. Starting at the top of the shoe is a bold two-toned ripstop pull tab that's placed over smooth black waterproof overlays. Round ghillie-style laces appear in bright blue-green stripes, complementing crisp white leather panels at the heel counter and sidewalls. Other details include "arnold" branding at the rear quarter stamped in a subtle tonal gloss as well as a lush suede toebox embellished with extra top-stitching. All of these features rest over a skinny black midsole, engineered specifically for optimal grip and traction when riding.

The Mike Arnold x adidas Copa Nationale is currently available on adidas' website for $95 USD.
