Mountain Research Deconstructs the Reebok DMX Trail Shadow

Japanese technical outerwear brand Mountain Research has joined forces with Reebok for a deconstructed take on the DMX Trail Shadow. With its layered upper and thick midsole, the DMX Trail Shadow already provides a hike-ready style, but Mountain Research has pared it back to its most essential form for a compelling alternate style. Dressed in a tan-hued "Camel" colorway, Mountain Research's Trail Shadow discards the meshes and synthetics found on in-line makeups in favor of a full nubuck upper. All reflective weldings and embossed details are gone as well, giving the crampon-inspired cage's construction an embellishment-free platform on which to shine. Even the Vector logo has been altered: its normal printed texture has been replaced by perforations. Stark Mountain Research branding is emblazoned on the outside of the tongue, and a black "Holiday in the Mountain" hit wraps around the heel. Even more motifs are ensconced on the tongue's inner half, namely MR's sign..

BEAMS Joins Crocs for Technical COBRA Buckle and Fishing Vest Clogs

Beige and gray shades inform two bespoke fishing vest-inspired styles, laden with D-rings, mesh and straps in homage to the cargo-friendly layering pieces -- there's even a zipper on the ripstop toebox for extra storage. The muted slip-ons also boast bright orange tabs on the adjustable ankle straps, complete with BEAMS branding. Nike Air Cross Trainer 3 Low Is a Blast From the Past

Nike's cross-training product from the late '80s-early '90s is the stuff of legend, and now the Air Cross Trainer 3 Low — a silhouette from deep in the Nike Sportswear archives — is set to make a return to market this spring. Originally released in 1990 and taking visual cues from Bo Jackson's famous Air Trainer SC, the Air Cross Trainer 3 Low is a polymathic piece of footwear that was crafted for everything from turf fields to weight rooms and basketball courts. Two retro colorways will kick off the Air Cross Trainer 3 Low's rollout: one embellished with black and turquoise, the other accented by sport blue, black and soft gray. Each uses a subtle and supple white leather base, then disperses its secondary shades across tongues, midsoles, eyestays and branded hits. This announcement follows up a January leak of two collaborative Supreme iterations. It's quite possible that the Swoosh and Supreme may follow a collaborative template used in years past for t..

New adidas Samba OG Features Predator-Style Stripes

adidas's timeless Samba and influential Predator line are two benchmarks in the ever-evolving world of performance football footwear, and now they've been brought together on a new Samba OG. Swapping out its standard Three Stripe graphic for Predator-style fangs, these sporty Sambas simultaneously salute two eras of adidas Soccer. First introduced in the '50s, the Samba was designed to give footballers standout support on icy turf. In the years since, it's become a casual favorite thanks to its soft leather upper, T-shaped suede toe overlay and sleek rubber midsole, all of which are present here and dressed in black. However, the standard Three Stripe graphics on the lateral and medial sides have been injected with a dose of venomous flair thanks to the fang-shaped overlays from the OG 1994 Predator boot. These white stripes are contrasted by a white tongue badge and a Samba text hit on the medial midfoot. Branding isn't the only acknowledgement of the Predator..
