Better Air Jordan 3: “White Cement ’88” or “White Cement Reimagined”

Originally released in 1988 and designed by Tinker Hatfield, the Air Jordan 3 was the debut of the now-iconic elephant print. One of the model’s original and most popular releases was the “White Cement” colorway, which was worn by Michael Jordan when he took flight from the free-throw line during the 1988 NBA Dunk Contest.

To celebrate the 25th Anniversary of that iconic dunk, Jordan Brand released the Air Jordan 3 ’88 “White Cement” back in 2013. This was the first retro since the first retros in 1994 to feature “Nike Air” branding on the heel.

10 years later to celebrate the model’s 35th Anniversary, the Air Jordan 3 “White Cement Reimagined” was debuted. Designed to look exactly like the original 1988 model that included an aged midsole for a vintage look with “Nike Air” branded heels.
