Late last year Hender Scheme debuted a luxe leather take on the iconic Nike Air Force 1. If you’ve been eyeballing a pair, you can currently find select sizes available at MR PORTER.
Referred to as the Hender Scheme Full-Grain Leather Sneakers by the retailer, the shoes are crafted from premium full-grain leather, featuring matching lining and soles. The sneakers are void of exterior branding and come with tonal leather laces.
Hender Scheme is known for its leather craftsmanship using natural, un-dyed leather, leaving the cowhide to reveal a distinct patina with age. The Japanese label has reinterpreted a number of familiar sneaker silhouettes in the past, including the Vans Slip-On and Converse Chuck Taylor.
