During the Sweet 16 matchup between UCLA Bruins and South Carolina Gamecocks, UCLA guard Kiki Rice, who joined the Jumpman as the first NIL athlete in October, debuted Jordan Brand’s newest signature shoe, the Air Jordan 38. This marked the first time the shoe would debut on the court. The basketball shoe was revealed in its upcoming “Fundamental” colorway that will be making its retail debut during Summer 2023.

Dressed in a White, Black, and Siren Red color scheme. This offering of the Air Jordan 38 comes with a mid-top build features a White base with Black overlay panels along the mudguard and extended up to the ankle area. Red contrasting accents with Jumpman logos on the tongues, heels, and insole atop a translucent outsole completes the design. As of the time of writing this, all the tech specs as well as the model’s cushioning setup has yet to be announced.
