H&M’s next designer collaboration might just be its sexiest yet. The Swedish fast fashion giant is teaming up with Mugler, a creative marriage that will bring designer Casey Cadwallader’s cut-out bodysuits and leggings to the masses.
While H&M has yet to specify a release date for the collab, customers can expect the collection to release sometime this spring. According to a press release, the range will capture “the unique and energetic spirit of Mugler” — a rather vague statement that leaves the contents of the collection to our imaginations.

Of course, we have an idea of what H&M x Mugler might entail. Cadwallader’s tenure at the French label is defined by ultra-sexy wares that tread the line between underwear and outerwear. Sharp corsetry, slashed leggings, and slinky, body-con dresses are hallmarks of Cadwallader’s Mugler, and are likely to make an appearance in his more approachable line for H&M.
Mugler joins a long list of luxury labels that H&M has teamed up with. In 2004, the mass retailer released a collection with Karl Lagerfeld, the first of many high fashion-high street crossovers. H&M x Karl Lagerfeld was quickly followed by collaborations with a slew of other big names including: Stella McCartney, Viktor & Rolf, Kenzo, Lanvin, Versace, Maison Margiela, and most recently, Simone Rocha.
