First introduced around the turn of the century, Jordan Brand's Trunner line aims to provide hybrid training and running performance — hence the "Trunner" moniker — and now it's entering its latest chapter with the Trunner Ultimate. A high-performance silhouette made for speed training and conditioning runs, the Trunner Ultimate provides a potent blend of cushioning and stability.
Arriving in both a bold volt green/black and a more toned-down sail/black, the Trunner Ultimate's upper is built of a feather-light seamless synthetic material. Branding is handled by Jumpman logos on the tongue and heel clip. Down below, a diamond-shaped cage ensures side-to-side stability for cross training exercises, while Flight Fin heel technology originally introduced on 2019's Trunner NXT aids with smooth heel-to-toe transitions. Cushioning for this standout setup is provided by a full-foot Zoom Air unit.
The Jordan Trunner Ultimate is set to debut on the Nike webstore this week in both the volt/black and sail/black colorways. Additional styles will also start making their way to market on June 1. Retail prices have yet to be announced.
