Meet Makeup Star Fara Homidi’s New Beauty Brand

Fara Homidi, the makeup artist behind fashion’s most memorable runway beats in recent history, is launching her own brand.

Fara Homidi Beauty, available to shop online, is elevated and editorial at its core — no surprise, considering that Homidi regularly works with the likes of Miu Miu, Coperni, and Eckhaus Latta (remember the goopy, glossy skin she created for the label’s Spring/Summer 2023 show?).

The artist’s first release is a collection of lip products in a range of six, universally flattering shades that took her over two years to formulate and test across the skin tone spectrum. Buttery lip pencils and a pocket-friendly lip brush accompany the crown jewel of the inaugural launch: the Essential Lip Compact, a refillable, palm-sized system that includes lip primer and “Colour Plush,” a sweep of color with a soft matte finish.

While Homidi’s fans are no doubt eager to see her latest venture expand, intentionality is key to the founder. Embracing the concept of slow beauty, Homidi will prioritize quality over quantity. A press release sums up her approach: “Fewer, better products, suitable for everyone.”
