From a dark understated colorway to a vibrant multi-color aesthetic and even a snakeskin-clad model, New Balance has taken its versatile 997S for a creative spin over the recent months. Now, offering another spring-ready colorway is a "Pink/Grey" iteration, bringing a rosy palette to the textured sneaker.

Reminiscent of the 997 "Rosé" drop from 2014, this pair comes with a largely pastel pink upper, extending across its brushed pigskin and mesh construction from the toebox and the midfoot panels to the tongue and heel counter. Breaking the soft monochromatic shade are various gray accents found by the bottom of the laces, the collar, and the "N" logo on the lateral, all coming in different tones for a more layered effect. Finishing off the silhouette is New Balance's signature ABZORB midsole in pristine white, complemented by a black outsole.

For those interested, the New Balance Made in US 997S "Pink/Grey" is now available over on the company's website, where it retails for $160 USD.

Elsewhere in sneakers, adidas has unveiled an '80s-themed Nizza collection.
