KAWS: He Eats Alone book

A new clothbound book highlighting KAWS‘ most recognizable works has just released courtesy of Silvana Editoriale and Qatar Museums. Titled KAWS: He Eats Alone, the publication hones in on the artist’s first exhibition in the Middle East, which concluded on January 25 of this year.

The exhibition, also referred to as He Eats Alone, was presented at the Fire Station Museum in Doha, Qatar. It included more than 40 of KAWS’ paintings and sculptures from the last 20 years, in addition to a series of the artist’s commercial collaborations and his Companion figures.

While focusing on the recent exhibition in the Middle East, KAWS: He Eats Alone also details Brian Donnelly’s celebrated career, dating back to the ’90s. The book showcases his iconic cartoon-inspired designs that have been used on fashion collections, vinyl figurines, and skateboards, as well as his coveted canvases, which have sold for millions.

KAWS: He Eats Alone spans 322 pages, 300 of which are in color, and includes an essay by Italian art historian, critic, and curator, Germano Celant. Follow the link below to purchase the book for $65.
