Nike Basketball's Adapt BB 2.0 is a serious performance silhouette equipped with potent power lacing technology, and now it's set to release in a whimsical tie-dye printed style. A vast departure from the Adapt BB line's usual all-business makeups, this new colorway brings some fun-loving flair to one of Nike's most innovative hoop sneakers.

Traditional tie-dye prints that combine orange, green, purple, yellow and more cover the entirety of the forefoot, throat and midfoot. These vivid hues are covered by a translucent white TPE sheath, itself equipped with solid seams and a textured black Swoosh graphic that starts above the throat before making its way down to the lateral side. A smaller outlined Swoosh is present on the medial side, inverted in a manner that makes it look as if it's diving onto the midsole. Padded white leather heels hold everything together.

Details don't stop there, however. Both the heel clip and the TPU overlay surrounding the Adapt BB 2.0's signature side lights are dressed in an icy blue, providing a cool contrast to the vibrant tie-dye. Each piece also adds more detail: heels have a "2020" graphic and a slight gradient fade is present on the midfoot. The lacing system uses high-tensile black thread that's wound through and around various colorful anchors, and more tie-dye graces the midsole's forefoot. Finally, an icy blue outsole, visible dyed forefoot Zoom Air bag and tie-dyed insoles complete the look.

The Nike Adapt BB 2.0 "Tie-Dye" is available via Nike Japan now, and retails for $400 USD.
