Nike Sportswear is continuing the Air Max 90's year-long 30th anniversary celebration with a new "Baroque Brown" makeup. An undeniably elegant take on a sport-styled classic, the "Baroque Brown" uses its namesake hue sparingly — but contrasts it with its crisp, light surroundings masterfully to ensure that it stands out.

Uppers mix mesh, suede and leather and are centered around rich chocolate brown Swooshes on lateral and medial quarters. The rest of the design branches out from here, with white leather overlays, supple tan suede mudguards and a sail mesh base layer for a look that's simultaneously earthy and airy. Ridged plastic eyestays and midfoot windows work with a rubberized heel badge for texture, and extra pops of brown branding appear on tongue and heel alike.

Down below, EVA midsoles split between brown and sail, with a clear Air Max unit finalizing the style. Alongside other brown-tinted lifestyle sneakers like the Air Tailwind 79 "Light Orewood Brown," these refined Air Maxes give Nike fans a summertime style that's more than rich enough to carry on into the fall.

The Nike Air Max 90 "Baroque Brown" is available now at European and Asian stockists like Nike SNKRS France and Nike Hong Kong, and is priced at €150 EUR (approx. $164 USD). It'll likely arrive on the Nike US webstore in the coming weeks as well.
