Nike Sportswear's Blazer Mid '77 Vintage has been one of the Swoosh's foremost in-line lifestyle silhouettes over the past months, and now it's set to release in a "Red Sketch" colorway. Yet another addition to the ever-expanding lineup of "Sketch" sneakers, the "Red Sketch" reworks an OG Blazer palette with its dashing doodled ornamentation.

A printed red Swoosh done up in hand-drawn style appears on both the lateral and medial quarter panels, dipping down ever so slightly into the tan suede mudguard. Heels offer the outline of a red Nike text graphic, tongue tags use a scrawled Swoosh-and-text embellishment, and Blazer-specific verbiage is dispersed across the upper as well. Each of these blurbs are done up in red, and range from "Nike Blazer Mid" on the lateral collar to "1977" — the year the Blazer first released — on the lateral forefoot and "Herringbone Design Outsole" with an arrow pointing down on the medial midsole.

All accents appear atop a crisp and classic base. Uppers are composed of white leather, exposed foam tongues offer a slight yellowish tint, and more suede overlays are present on heel and mudguard alike. White rubber midsoles and the previously noted herringbone outsoles complete the look.

The Nike Blazer Mid '77 Vintage "Red Sketch" will release at Nike SNKRS JP come April 13, and retails for ¥12,100 JPY (approximately $112 USD).
