Much like LeBron James's unique game, Nike's LeBron 17 Low is versatile and multifaceted in its stylings, a jack-of-all-trades ethos readily apparent on this new "Light Cream" colorway. Blending performance tech with a lifestyle-geared build, the "Light Cream" can be worn before, during and after the game.

Soft tan uppers are built from a textured mesh to replicate the Battleknit on the high-top LeBron 17. This is overlaid with a perforated tan leather mudguard and quarter panel. Of note is the lacing system, which uses an asymmetrical fabric strip that climbs up the toebox before veering towards the lateral side of the tongue, and is anchored by eyelets attached to the aforementioned mudguard.

Branding is handled by iridescent Swooshes — large and split on the lateral side, small and connected on the medial side. LeBron's signature is embroidered on the tongue in white, with left and right heels offering orange and blue crown logos, respectively. Milky grey heel clips use sharp crown-inspired peaks, and the midsole's cushioning setup is split between Air Max in the heel and React foam in the forefoot. Icy translucent outsoles round off the look

With its elegant attention to detail and technical build, this LeBron 17 Low looks as if it could have been crafted by James's good friend Ronnie Fieg. It'll be available on the Nike webstore in the coming weeks, and will retail for $160 USD.
