Nike is bolstering its space-leaning sneaker theme with a brand new “Galaxy” iteration of the Air Max 90. In line with the iconic silhouette's 30th Anniversary, the shoe nods to a variety of the sportswear giant’s most prized grails, most notably the Air Foamposite One Galaxy from 2012.

Taking note of the aforementioned Foamposite’s intergalactic upper, the Air Max model has been emblazoned with a multi-color pattern on the toe box, tongue, and collar, with contrasting black mudguards, midfoot panels, and laces rounding out the shoe’s extraterrestrial design. The Swooshes and tongue patches equally take note of the theme, utilizing a metallic silver finish that harkens back to early NASA spacesuits. Finishing notes on the thematic sneaker include white speckled notes on the midsole’s black portion, with a hangtag that seemingly references the supernova SN2020bio, which was discovered earlier this January.

Take a detailed look at the Air Max 90 “Galaxy” above. While no release date is currently known, expect more release details to arrive soon.
