Nike’s University of Oregon-Inspired SB Dunk Low “Buck” Surfaces

Sneaker collector Yankee Kicks has provided the first look at Nike's upcoming SB Dunk Low "Buck."

The pair originally released in 2003 as a homage to Phil Knight's Oregon roots, adopting a bold "White/Classic Green/Del-Sol" colorway while sporting Knight's nickname "Buck" on the rear. The colorway is taken from the University of Oregon where PK ran track for and graduated from.

Nike's use of color blocking and mixed materials gives this SB Dunk Low a bold, summer-ready look. White leather appears perforated on the toe box and smooth around the rear, while "Classic Green" suede wraps around the majority of the sneaker's upper. A touch of "Del-Sol" yellow leather graces the mid-section, and has also been used to highlight the rear "Buck" embroidery.

A mixture of "Classic Green" and "Del-Sol" appears on the tag that sits atop of the black mesh tongue, while a white and "Del-Sol" palette makes up the sole unit. Rounding off the pair is a set of black and yellow laces.

Take a closer look at the Nike SB Dunk Low "Buck" in the images above, and expect a re-release of this 2003 classic sometime later this year on Nike's website and select SB stockists.

In case you missed it, here is an official look at the Air Jordan 4 "Lucid Green."
