The Nike Air Ship was the real “Banned” Jordans that Michael Jordan wore during the Chicago Bulls rookie training camp in 1984 that the NBA’s memo referenced and prohibited. In 1985, Nike debuted the Air Jordan 1 in the iconic Black/Red “Banned” color blocking.
This offering of the original Nike Air Ship “Banned” sports a Black leather base with Red overlays on the eyelets, Swooshes, and heels along with matching colored Nike tongues and rubber outsole. A White midsole with tonal Nike Swoosh branding on the lateral completes the design.
