ROMBAUT has just shared a dual campaign titled "CLIMATE ANXIETY" for Spring/Summer 2020, presenting its latest vegan footwear collection across two trippy lookbooks. The images were inspired by themes of climate change and medicine and showcase a minimalistic range of boots, sneakers and heels.

For the "DYSMORPHIA" campaign, ROMBAUT introduces a brand-new outsole throughout its all-black colorways, debuting a sturdy biodegradable foundation. Contrasting against the eco-friendly materials of the shoes are the photos themselves, which evoke a dismal tone as various people are captured in "different states of distress" given the uncertain times of the world.

The bleak mood continues in the second campaign, "The CURE." This time ROMBAUT moves the scene indoors to a dystopian medical facility, highlighting a white and neutral-toned assortment featuring the likes of lug-soled boots, cowboy boot stilettos and chunky sandals. Altogether, the brand aims for the imagery to pay homage to "science, innovation and all the people with great minds working to make real change possible."

Elsewhere in footwear, Dior's new Oblique Sandals have recently released as a summer-ready option.
