Editor's notes: From doodling all over a pair of Gazelles to leaving dangling threads hanging from Superstars, Sean Wotherspoon's sneaker collaborations (both with adidas and other brands) have always been notable for their colorful finishes and eye-catching touches.

With his latest release, a new take on adidas' 90s-inspired Orketro sneaker, things are a bit different though. This is Wotherspoon's most minimal sneaker collab to date.

The shoe has a simple off-white look that comes from its undyed, unfinished canvas upper. This uncolored fabric has been used to make the shoe more sustainable as it skips the water-intensive dyeing process that often uses a bunch of chemicals.

But there's nothing stopping you from dyeing the monochrome sneaker to create a personalized colorful version — using natural dyes without harmful chemicals, of course. In fact, Wotherspoon is encouraging people to get creative on this model.

"I can’t wait to see who decides to keep theirs OG, and who will go crazy with some dyeing! Been working on a few special pairs myself, hyped to show you all," the Round Two founder wrote on Instagram after enlisting the services of sneaker customizer Owaish to show how it's done.

The "Color Dyesigner" re-created the shoe with a multicolored gradient finish and even gave a step-by-step tutorial on how it's done over on Instagram.

So, the choice is yours: are you going to risk hand-dyeing your Orketros or leave them with a minimal off-white look?
