visvim has reimagined its Christo with a sleek, supple finish. After giving the silhouette a striking patchwork design back in November, Hiroki Nakamura's stalwart label has offered a rustic take this time around, lending its focus more on texture and material — black suede Shaman-Folk Christos.
The sandal embodies a textured triple-black design in lush thick suede. Starting at the top of piece is a tiny leather visvim tag woven around the lateral side. One distinctive design aspect of the slide is the frayed details that decorate the piece all around. The slide comes with finely cut edges, complemented by long horizontal tassels that spread inwards on the medial side — the piece also comes with two leather knots on the lateral half. All of these details sit atop a tonal footbed that's been molded for optimal comfort and support.
visvim's black Christo Shaman-Folk sandals are currently available on SSENSE's website for $840 USD.
