COMME des GARÇONS PLAY and Converse‘s quintessential Chuck 70 collaboration has appeared in a new heart-printed style. Following the eight-pack of neon-toned makeups that released at the top of the month, this fresh quartet goes back to standard color schemes but adds a new take on CDG Play’s instantly recognizable logo.

The Chuck 70 Hi and Chuck 70 Low are both present, each dressed in black/sail or sail/black color schemes. Each pair’s canvas upper is covered in an all-over print, with one solid red heart on the lateral collar surrounded by several outlined hearts on heel and forefoot alike — white on the black pairs, black on the sail pairs. Overlaid fabric heel stripes add contrast, and a signature Converse star badge retains its place on the medial collar of the Hi.

High-gloss eggshell midsoles and toe caps are left completely tonal, with classic rubber outsoles finalizing each style. Although all-over heart print first debuted on the Pro Leather in 2015 and made its way to the Chuck Taylor in 2018, this marks the first time it’s been applied so liberally on the Chuck — and the first time it’s been presented in outlined instead of filled fashion.

Look for all four of these cheery Chucks to release on April 29 at Dover Street Market. Retail prices have yet to be announced.
