The Air Jordan 1 continues to be a driving force for Jordan Brand's lifestyle product in 2020, and now the beloved Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG is set to release in a "Satin Snake" makeup. Combining a familiar red, white and black palette with a new colorblocking setup and bold alternate construction, the "Satin Snake" lives up to its luxurious eponym.

Things start off simply on the toebox, mudguard, quarter panels and eyestays thanks to a traditional mix of red and white leathers. However, the construction gets more and more luxurious as you make your way back to the collar. Black Swooshes, heels and collar flaps take on a scaly snakeskin print, and the throat is constructed from a supple, silky red satin.
Additional branding is provided by a black and red tongue tag plus a debossed ball and wings logo on the collar flaps. White rubber midsoles and black outsoles anchor the uppers, and thinner-than-usual black laces tie everything together both literally and figuratively.
The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG "Satin Snake" is a women's style, but will likely release in an extended size run. A drop is tentatively scheduled for August 15 on Nike SNKRS, and the retail price has been reported as $170 USD.
