Nepenthes and Suicoke have teamed up for a set of new sandals for the warm summer days. Following its collaboration with N. HOOLYWOOD on a pair of black Monk Strap shoes, the Japanese footwear brand opted for a set of scaly snakeskin and tabi-inspired slides this time around.

The footwear capsule consists of three silhouettes: Elastic slide, Slip-In and Split-Toe, each coming in black and creamy white colorways. The Elastic slide is covered with premium snakeskin textures throughout the uppers. A small purple tab appears at the top of the slide, shifted slightly to the lateral edge of the piece. Complemented by smooth neoprene piping, the silhouette sports four elastic hooks that secure the upper flap over the lower one, completing the functional design of the uppers.

The Slide-In sandal is made with a sleeker build. A smooth nylon ripstop strap is placed over the forefoot, allowing the wearer to adjust the fit with its velcro construction. As a final touch, the rest of the uppers come in neoprene for added comfort. The Split-Toe Sandal embodies a mold that covers up the toe region. As its name suggests, it sees a tabi-inspired split-toe structure, complemented by adjustable neoprene panels at the midsection. All three sandals have been equipped with an antibacterial sole, accompanied by essential Vibram technology for optimal traction and support.

NEPENTHES and Suicoke's collaborative Purple Label sandals will be available at 6 a.m., May 9 on NEPENTHES' website, ranging from $150 – $199 USD.
