New Balance has released its popular 850 in three new colorways, each of which offers a '90s-indebted palette. Originally released in 1996 and one of the first New Balance shoes intentionally geared towards a younger audience, the 850 supplies unique heritage style at an attractive price point.
This trifecta of new offerings runs the gamut from vibrant to elegant: there's a simple-yet-sturdy black, white and gray, a black and gray with luminous neon yellow and green accents, and a crisp white with summer-ready blue and pink embellishments. All three of these makeups use boldly shaped suede overlays on top of a classic mesh base. Down below, midsoles are built of New Balance's signature ABZORB foam with Rollbar tech under the arch offering substantive support as well. C-Cap rubber outsoles complete each look.
Alongside other revitalized models like the 827 and new lifestyle silhouettes like the 327, the 850 is aiding New Balance in making a powerful lifestyle push ahead of the summer. All three of these 850s are available now at New Balance Japan for a tax-included price of ¥12,980 JPY (approximately $121 USD).
