With the old-meets new SL7600 arriving in recent months, adidas Originals has returned to the original SL76 silhouette for an exclusive collaboration with size?. The UK-based retailer has taken the lightweight sneaker back to its roots, resurrecting the original colorway and specifications for a limited-edition release.
The sneaker is constructed from an upper of super-light woven nylon with suede overlays on the T-toe and eyestay. A stand-out feature of the SL76 is its ghilly-loop lacing system, which is recreated for this release. The sneaker's upper sits atop a streamlined EVA midsole and a rubber toe-bumper, as well as the silhouette's signature serrated rubber outsole. The whole sneaker is decked out in a green and yellow color palette, a tribute to the silhouette's original design.
