Salehe Bembury may be the Vice President of Sneakers & Men's Footwear at Versace, but he's a man of many hats whose latest project is collaboration with Chinese brand ANTA. Mostly known in the US as the makers of Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson's signature shoes, ANTA also has a burgeoning lifestyle business that's now being bolstered by Bembury's signature high-street touch.

The in-demand designer's original ANTA silhouette is at once technical, conceptual and classic. Dressed entirely in a soft gray shade — save for the gum sole — it offers a synthetic shroud upper with textured dots on the toebox and lateral side. Meanwhile, the medial half presents a stripped-back mesh emblazoned with a metallic silver ANTA logo. All of this is secured by a zip closure above the laces, and sits atop a sock-like knit collar that rises well above the wearer's ankle. Latticed detailing on the midsole completes the look.
An official release date and pricing information have yet to be announced, but will likely appear soon. This isn't the only collaboration Bembury has in the pipeline either: he's also working with New Balance.
