Always testing for the next advancement in design, Nike has long made use of woven techniques to provide breathability and comfort, and the Nike ACG Watergate+ is just the latest example.
The quick-drying cord upper is the star of this show, proving the utilitarian backdrop of the shoe as well as the bold visual character that defines it. The shoe basically eats up any slippery rocks or muddy trails with a lugged, mixed-rubber outsole that’s much more stable than your average sandal.
Sure, there have been comparisons made between the Nike ACG Watercat+ and its popular Keen counterpart, but that takes nothing away from this silhouette’s form and function. Plus, the bold Court Purple colorway is a winner.
